The reason why mummy chose the name Sheryl for me is that she wanted a name with similar meaning as kor kor. Likewise, the reason she chose kor kor's name too!
Creation of the Blog
Mummy finally decide to create a Blog for me. She say this is a little something for me to read when I grow up. Things that she want me to know and she like to remember, she will jot it down here.
As this is created after I turned One Year Old, so she will try to 'dig' from her memory for those things that happened from the day I was born till now.
But one thing I know for sure is that Mummy is IN LOVE with me!

Daryl
Mummy added me in this blog as well after I 'arrived' on 17th November 2010. This will be the 'diary' where she will updated the growth of kor kor and me.
We both know that in mummy's heart, we are her bao bei and this is a forever love from her unconditionally.

This is the first time Daryl is attending a ROM and he did make some noise when Lynn and Wei Boon are saying their vows. Overall, little Daryl enjoy himself as he is happy to be carry by diffferent people and playing with different people too. Best of all, he love the balloons decoration in the room.

I have planned to throw a party for Daryl in early 2009. My guest list grew from a mini close friends and relatives to a bigger one as I still feel and think that it is Daryl BIG ONE so must celebrated. Furthermore, his actual fall on a Saturday lor. In the end, Shawn got no choice but give in to me, by initially saying that he is not going to invite his friends but in the end, guess he also feel excited and did invited his friends.
The theme I always have in mind is baby Mickey and baby Minnie coz that it the very first pair of soft toys Daryl have since his full month, which came along with the ankle bracelet that my parents bought for Daryl full month celebration. However, beside the cake which I was able to make baby Mickey and baby Minnie, it was tough to get decoration even with the grow up Mickey or Minnie theme. Anyway, I have very minimum decorations. Only balloons with Happy Birthday wordings and Mickey Mouse print and 2 helium balloon with Mickey mouse theme. I got a glittering Happy Birthday Banner and some shiny wordings to spell out Daryl's name. With big thanks to my colleagues Celeste and Heidi who came early to help me out with the decoration. My brother also help me get the Mickey mouse table cloth from Hong Kong coz I was unable to get a nice one in Singapore.
Also, being a kiasu mother, I order the cake from Glad way back in early Feburary 2009. Partly also because she usually only take 1 order per day. But for 2nd May, she took in 2 order including mine. The other order is for Alice's girl, Rachel who are only born about 1 hour later than Daryl.
Oh, I also order some butter cookies from my colleagues Jun's friend as the cookies are made into Minnie's head and some other Disney character head. Also, she have party pack which make the cookies just nice as the door gift which I did not prepared.
Oh ya, the venue is the function room in Grace's Condo, the same venue as my ROM. See, can guess that Grace is my close friend right, coz basically, I trouble her for alot of stuffs de. Heehee....
