This is how Daryl 'Crawl'

When the other babies around the same age as Daryl are already happily crawling away, Daryl can only sit and make tiny movement by moving his body to and fro. Then he finally 'crawl' when he about 11 months. But he did not go on all fours.....and people who saw how he crawled were amazed by his least common type of crawling ba.

Road Bully - Red Fiat SJF 2176M

We was on our way home from my parent house in Hougang. There was a slight jam when we reach Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 due to an accident on the right lane. So Shawn filter to the extreme left lane (bus lane). Then the Red Fiat in front wanted to filter to the left lane too. But as there are on coming traffic behind, so Shawn sound the honk to alert the driver.

Then after we passed the junction, the Red Fiat came chasing us and sounding his honk. Then it stop at small road between blk 451 and 427 to wait for us to pass another junction. When we passed, he drove very fast and really closed beside us thus forcing us to stop. Wind down his window, point middle finger at us and scold "CB, u think you very sut huh" then he bang our car hard with his hand. Then he drove away in a reckless and fast way and stop at another junction opposite Ang Mo Kio MRT station on the extreme left lane for turning left. When the traffic light turn green, instead of waiting for the car infront of him to make the left turn then proceed, he recklessly drove pass the car and speed away.

Little did that road bully know that he have scare Daryl. Cause after that Daryl was abit cranky. I really wonder why people can do such things to endanger their own lifes and others. How could he let anger get the better of him, furthermore, he is the one at fault. He did not check his blind spot. How could such bloodly pig head got his license. His license should be suspend for life, as letting a mad dog out will only endanger the others! If u are tired of living, u can go kill yourself, but pls not at the expense of endangering other people life. Especially a small kid who have a bright future ahead!

Daryl's 1st RL polo tee and tee shirt!

Just when I thought Daryl have recovered as he is no longer running a fever, he start to have cough. I think it is likely that Shawn have spread the virus to him. However, Daryl do seem better although he is coughing slightly.


However, Daryl vomitted again in the afternoon when Shawn was feeding him. According to Shawn, it is he feed Daryl too fast and too big mouthful as he forget that Daryl is still not well thus of course he will not be able to eat like he normally does or digest that fast lor. The way he vomitted look just like the Merlion at Esplanade. He puke out all the porridge and water on Shawn and the floor. As such, it worried me so much that I cancelled drving lesson.


Then in the evening, we went to my brother's house for my sister in law birthday celebration. Daryl is not afraid of Fifi and keep wanting to go near her and touch her. He only start to get abit afraid of her when she bark at him when he was standing nearby. After that, he will 'siam' abit when Fifi get real near....muahaha.


Somehow, Daryl seem to like Siying jie jie, a small girl who is few years older than him. Cos, I saw him giving her the flower in a pot but that is after he tried to give my sister who did not see him doing it, then he stand up and give it to the little girl. However, my sister told me that Daryl give the little girl his pooh bear bag in TWO hands lor. See so young already know how to 'xian za bor', kekeke.......As Daryl seem to like the flower ifn a pot alot, my dad let him play with it when he was playing with him. Then who know my little terror in action and broke the pot, which belong to the birthday girl aka my sister in law. So paiseh.


Oh ya, my sister in law bought 1 RL polo tee and 1 RL tee for little terror. So nice of her. Best thing is her taste is alway so good. I like the polo tee as that blue colour is very nice.

Daryl vomitted!

Just back from TMC. Daryl was already sleeping while I was updating the blog. Then, I thought I hear him making some noise so I went into the room to check him out. He was awake, crying, look uncomfortable. Then he seem to be breathing hard and he start to cough abit. The next thing I know he vomitted!

As he was still having abit of fever earlier, and out of worry, we rush him to TMC to see doctor since it had already past 12 mid night.

Phewz, lucky the doctor say he is okay, as there is not whistling sound in his lung. So even it is any food or medicine allergy, it should be minor one. Or maybe it is just indigestion ba.

But I guessed, it will be another sleepless night for me as I have still to be alert in my sleep in case, anything happen....praying hard that he will be okay and fine....

Daryl have Hong Mo for the 1st time!

When we went to pick Daryl up from his nanny in the evening, we was told that Daryl started running slight fever suddenly in the afternoon. But as he is still eating well and is active, we thought we will just feed him paracetamol which we still have from the last time we consulted PD when we reach home.


Then Shawn noticed a red spot which is swollen and look like mosquito bite between Daryl's eyes. Thinking that it is just mosquito bite, we did not think much and proceed to clean him up. After he finished his milk, we stay in the room watching news with the light off, trying to let him sleep. Then I noticed that he keep scratching his neck area, and seem having a hard time to sleep. Taking a closer look shock me as I see there are so many swollen bite on him. Shawn quicky on the light and we checked Daryl and noticed that there a quite a lot of red swollen spot on him which I thought look like hong mo. We concluded that it is rashes, but as we are not really sure what type of rashes it is and as he seem so itchy and uncomfortable, we decide to bring him see doctor at those clinic that operated till 12 midnight, since it is already 10pm plus and those clinic with normal operating hours should have already closed.

After registering and a short wait, we are in the consultation room and the doctor tell us that the rashes look like a form of hong mo, which might have been trigger by either the paracetamol which fed him earlier (maybe it is spolit as we did not store it in the fridge) or it could be trigger by his fever virus. The doctor ask if we want him to prescribe new paracetamol beside the medicine for the rashes, and we agreed. Oh, by the way, forget to mention that thru out the consultation, Daryl keep on looking at the doctor and smile or laugh.

Then on the way home, Daryl fall asleep in my arms. But still when we reach home, we give him the medicine for the rashes so that the rashes can clear faster and he will be able to sleep thru and not be awaken due to itchness.

11th July 2009 - Collection of Daryl Passport

We submitted Daryl photo 2 times online before it was accepted. Finally, it was ready for collection. So we wake up very early today and headed to ICA to collect his passport. Now we can really planned a holiday with our little terror!
