CNY Day 7 - Chinatown lighting sightseeing

Today is CNY day 7 also known as Ren ri (people day meaning the birthday for all people). I was busy the whole morning (actually busying since last night) preparing and cooking lunch for a mini gathering of my friends in my house. Well at least none of them complain about my cooking and all of them like the chicken and potatoe stew (Shawn say that is my 拿手好菜).

Attendance of the mini gathering - (1) Ah Teck & family (2) Grace and (3) Lynn & Wei Boon.

Friends missing are Wee Nah and KK & family.

Daryl actually kiss Ah Teck's girl lor, and it was a few times and Grace say it is because her height is the most suitable for him to kiss coz Ah Teck elder son is taller mah. Well, like what Lynn and Wei Boon say, Daryl sure start young. I wonder inherit from who lor. ;-p

Then in the evening after all left, we decided to bring Daryl to see the lightings in Chinatown. After bathing and changing him, we let him have his dinner at the coffeeshop near our house before we drove to Chinatown. There we met Grace's mother who not only give Daryl an ang bao but also bought him a box of ribena sweets which Daryl enjoy eating.

CNY Day 4 - At Wan Lin's place

Daryl : "Hey, I have this toy at home too, but I always cannot seem to get the shape right."

Daryl : "Wow, what is that soft soft bag that I have just sat on?"

We did not send Daryl to the Nanny today since I was on leave although Shawn will be at work. However, Shawn come back during lunch and we went over to Wan Lin's house for CNY visiting before he send over to my parent's place. These pictures are taken in Kaleb's playroom by Wan Lin. Yup, the photos turn out very good right, coz she is using DSLR camera mah.

Today is Shawn's secondary school mates annual CNY gathering. This year, it is organised and held at Chengjie/June's place. It is a fun and enjoyable event, although it is a pity that a handful of them are unable to join due to personal commitments.
