Mummy chose the name Daryl for me as she say I am her little darling and I am dearly loved by her..... Also, she hope I will be loved by all too.

The meaning of Sheryl

Sheryl is of Germanic, English, and Old English origin and it is used mainly in English.

Sheryl is a variant form of Charlotte (French, German, Dutch, English and Scandinavian) and also an English spelling variant of Cheryl (English and German).

The reason why mummy chose the name Sheryl for me is that she wanted a name with similar meaning as kor kor. Likewise, the reason she chose kor kor's name too!

Creation of the Blog

Mummy finally decide to create a Blog for me. She say this is a little something for me to read when I grow up. Things that she want me to know and she like to remember, she will jot it down here.

As this is created after I turned One Year Old, so she will try to 'dig' from her memory for those things that happened from the day I was born till now.

But one thing I know for sure is that Mummy is IN LOVE with me!

:-)
Daryl

Mummy added me in this blog as well after I 'arrived' on 17th November 2010. This will be the 'diary' where she will updated the growth of kor kor and me.

We both know that in mummy's heart, we are her bao bei and this is a forever love from her unconditionally.

:-)

Daryl roll off the bed for the 1st time

Sometimes we will let Daryl sleep with us. That is between me and Shawn on our queen size bed. Especially when he is sick coz we need to monitor him mah. There are also times when he cried in the middle of the night and refused to sleep in his playpen then we will let him sleep with us.

Last night, as usually, he cried at about 12 plus 1am. Then he refused to sleep in his playpen, so I ask if he want to sleep with us on the bed and he nodded his head. So I put him on our bed. Initially was thinking of putting him back on his playpen when he fall asleep. However, I also fell asleep thus did not carry him back to his playpen. Then later in the night, Daryl started to cry, and Shawn wake me up asking if I put Daryl back to his playpen as he was not on our bed. I say no and we start to look for him in the dark. Guess where we found him??? He was at the foot of our bed stuck on the bed platform coz his playpen was right at the foot of our bed thus prevented him from rolling onto the floor. The reason why it took us sometime to find him is that he was wearing white and somehow blend in with our white colour quilt cover.

This is the first time he roll off the bed. Although he sleep like a little clock, he have never really roll off the bed, except for the other time when he sleep on the bed with me alone (think Shawn was away on in camp training) when he was on the edge top of those pillows used to block him from falling off the bed. We was both shocked and we do find it abit funny for him to be stuck over there. Then I started to wonder and ask Shawn did he actually roll off or did either of us actually kick him off there.

Anyway, after that, he was awake and he tried to keep me awake by keep on tapping me. Good thing is that he was blocked by his playpen thus did not roll onto the floor thus did not knock his head. Also, when we tried asking him in the night and in the morning again if he feel pain anywhere, he only point to his left feet. But he did not cried in pain when I check on his feet by squeezing it. Thus we assumed that he was not hurt by this little 'accident'.
