Daryl, 宝贝长大和懂事了!

Recently, it is really obvious that Daryl have grow up and is more sensible in those little actions and things he did.

Some of the little cute, funny and sensible things/action he did :-

Monday - 28th Sept 2009 :
when he saw his daddy switching on his nursery song DVD for him to watch, he just automatically rush to the sofa to sit down and wait for the song to be play.

Sunday - 27th Sept 2009 :

Daryl keep me busy the whole morning by making me to take out all his toys from the study room to the living room, while his daddy is out for his weekly soccer game.

It come to a point where I was so tired and fed up with his 'nonesense', that I ignore him and refused to look in his direction when he was trying to ask me to get something for him on the dinning table. Then suddenly, he was all quiet and from the corner of my eyes, I saw him freezed his position, with his right hand finger pointing to the dinning table, right feet slightly lift up, and head slanted to his left and look at me. And when I turned to look at him, immediately, he give me a big smile and started making noise to ask me take the things for him.

He looked so cute and funny that till today his freezed position is still running through my mind and it alway bring a smile on my face.


Tuesday - 15th Sept 2009 :

These days, Daryl will ask us to switch on his Nursery CD when we are in the car, so we will on it for him when we pick him from his nanny's place. However, today I thought of listening to some radio so I switch to the radio after Shawn parked by the side and he went to buy his dinner.

Instantly, Daryl make some noise indiciating his unhappiness. I thought he just do not like this station as the host are chatting away and no song are being play, so I switch to another station and ask him if this is ok. Who know, he shaked his head. Then, I tried another station and ask him again and he shaked his head again. In the end, I tried all station and he shaked his head for all. Pissed off, I on his CD and ask him if it is ok, and guess what he NODDED his head.

My god, my little terror know how to choose what songs he want to listen to liao!!!


Sunday - 13th Sept 2009 :

as usual Shawn went for his weekly soccer game, leaving Daryl and me at home. We have to rush over for Isaiah's 1st Birthday Party once Shawn is back from his game.

Initially I was trying to coax Daryl to sleep so I can then cook his porridge and get ready for the party later. However, he refused to sleep. So no choice, I on his nursery CD for him to listen then I try asking if he could wait for me in his playpen while I go cook his porridge. Surprisingly, he nodded his head. So I quickly put him in the playpen and went out to cook his porridge, where throughout, he did not make any noise and was kuai kuai playing by himself in the playpen.

I was still not convinced that he actually understand what I have asked him. Thus, I tried again. This time, I ask him if mummy can go bath, again he nodded his head. But then he refused to let me put him in his playpen, so I say "You say ok for mummy to go bath, then you don't let mummy put you down. Mummy is smelly leh, can mummy go bath?" This time he let me put him down in the playpen after nodding his head again. While I was bathing, I noticed that again he did not fuss or make any noise.

Thus, I am convinced that he really understand what I am saying. Best of all is that if he did 'agreed', he will not fuss or make any noise at all. So now I can say bye bye to army style of bathing.

Saturday - 12th Sept 2009 :

as I need to go to Geok Peng's house to learn mooncake making, so I get my mum to come over to help take care of Daryl. As Shawn is getting mee hoon mee as breakfast, so he also buy my mum share too. When both of them are eating and feeding some to Daryl at the same time, they will ask him if he wanted before they feed.
Mum to Daryl : Do you want mee hoon? Daryl nodded his head and open his mouth to eat.
Mum to Daryl : Do you want mee? Daryl shaked his head and when my mum continued to feed him with the mee, he spitted it out.
Shawn to Daryl : Do you want egg? Daryl shaked his head and same he spitted out when Shawn feed him.
Mum tried mee hoon again, and Daryl will nodded his head and open his mouth to eat.

Conclusion is that Daryl understand and he love mee hoon!
